Volunteers Needed for
A Midsummer Night’s Dream!
It takes a village to bring Shakespeare’s magic to our community—and we want you to be part of it! Whether you’re a seasoned stagehand or just want to help out behind the scenes, Southern Shakespeare Company has a job for you.
Volunteer roles for our production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream include:

Usher/Adventure Leader – Lead traveling audience groups through the forest from performance site to performance site. Volunteers MUST be available to attend a dress rehearsal on April 28th or 29th at 7 pm.

Merch Tent Attendent – Assist with merchandise and membership sales

General Volunteer – Be a friendly face at the Welcome Tent or lend a hand with festival cleanup

VIP Tent + Merch Tent Set Up – Make our guests feel like royalty
Need volunteer hours? Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome (under 16 requires a chaperone).

Whatever your skill set, SSC has a job for you! Such as:
- Usher or Parking Attendant: Help patrons find their seats, playbills, parking spaces, and more
- Cashier: Assist with sales of merchandise, food, memberships, and more
- General Volunteer: be a source of information at the Welcome Tent or a helping hand to tidy up
Need volunteer hours for your school, club or organization? SSC accepts volunteers of all ages and abilities (volunteers under 16 require a chaperone).
